UK Transport

We need to have 40% less cars overall in the UK within the next 3 years, with more use made of public transport, cycling and delivery services.  The truth is that many cars will have to be scrapped.  May be a policy of one car per household should be introduced! Of the 60% cars remaining, half should be fully electric by 2030 and all electric by 2035. Taxis and vans can be hybrids to cover longer distances.   Lorries and shipping should eventually be hydrogen-based by 2040. Taxes on carbon-based air travel should increase substantially.
